Art Deco-Inspired Wedding Invitations

This wedding invitation set reflects the timeless fashion of the Art Deco era. The ‘special invitation’ announcements feature stitched golden vellum covers, while recipe cards featuring “his and hers” cocktails easily tear apart to give your guests an interactive element when they receive their envelopes in the mail. Your guests can prepare the cocktail recipes in anticipation of the big day.

The starting point.

At the beginning of this project, the client came to me with some clipart that they used to put together their own Save-the-Date cards (seen above). So, we took that clipart as the starting point for the whole project, and developed a color scheme and final look.

Expanding on a theme.

These hand-cut wedding invitations boast some unique features. The dove motif on the front wrap their wings around the back of the card, while the gate fold reveals beautiful typography on the inside, set in Lavendaria. The RSVP cards are printed on paper adorned with shimmery silver flowers are hand-perforated to show the same attention to detail, all nestled inside silver envelopes. See more images below!
