When I draw, sometimes I have something in mind, other times, I sit down with no ideas and start with just a dot. That is how this pattern collection started. I was visiting Philadelphia and was inspired by an afternoon trip to the Barnes Collection. Large Matisse paintings of dancing figures inspired the wavy lines of these flower stems.
