Distelfink Daydream

A maximalist folk art-inspired pattern

This fun, happy pattern was inspired by the ‘distelfink’ folk art patterns found in Pennsylvania Dutch/German country. A distelfink motif is usually a stylized goldfinch, but as you can see I took some artistic liberty and made mine blue. This was my entry for a “Maximalist Folk” Spoonflower Design Challenge in March of 2022, so I went extra bold and extra bright!
